Got a Boat You Need Gone?

Sometimes a boat reaches the end of its useful life for an owner long before it’s actually out of useful parts.

Maybe it’s been sitting at a marina, the storage bills are piling up, or you simply don’t know what to do with it. Traditional boat removal can get expensive quickly, with some companies charging around $100 per foot just to haul a boat away and send it to the landfill.

At Run Aground Boatworks, we take a different approach.

We evaluate every boat individually, but in many cases we can remove unwanted sailboats for very little—or sometimes even free. The condition, location, and usable equipment all play a part in what we can offer.

Instead of sending an entire boat to the dump, we salvage what still has value. Hardware, winches, rigging, sails, engines, electronics, fittings, and countless other components can find a second life on another boat.

Our goal is simple: keep good boat parts out of the landfill and put them back to work.

So if you've got an unwanted sailboat taking up space, give us a call. We may be able to turn your problem boat into useful parts for someone else's project.
